My Loving Guru, Amma
I have taken many journeys in this life. Some wonderful and some with trial. Yet, the best and most beautiful journey I have ever taken was the very steps that took me to my guru’s first embrace. I didn’t know why or how I was so strongly guided to end up in this line. A line that so many millions of people before me have also waited… patiently, to be embraced in the arms of the divine. I, myself have never been so patient in my life and awestruck to watch the continuous and eternal embrace that Amma pours forth to the current thousands of people in the room all waiting for their moment with her.
Amma, known as the “hugging saint”, has embraced over 28 Million people around the world and the number grows everyday. As a self-realized guru, she lives her life in self-less service to humanity. Not only does she embrace the world with her love, but she works to help raise awareness and support to endless amounts of charitable causes all over the world, helping to feed the hungry and bring shelter to the homeless. Creating opportunities for individuals to create the life they truly want to love.
The path of Bhakti, is a very simple path. One in which the true path to enlightenment is to work in self-less service to humanity. A path that can be explored in endless and countless ways. This becomes the journey to true Bliss.
As mother, Amma is with your everywhere and always. Since my first embrace, I feel her in my heart, I ask for her blessing and guidance, and bring her gratitude for all the times she supports my path. For even though she does not walk with me in physical presence, she walks in the chambers of my heart and knowing she is there, helps me to realize that I am never alone.
